Hospital appointments

You can view some hospital appointments in the NHS Wales App. 

This depends on your health board. You may still get an appointment letter. 

Patients at Powys Teaching Hospital Health Board will not see appointments at hospitals in England. 

Ways to view your hospital appointments 

You can check your appointments in different ways. 

From a notification

If you have notifications turned on, you’ll get one when you have a new message in the App. Select the notification, log in to the app, and you’ll go straight to the message. Follow the link in the message to see your appointment in My health timeline. 

Notifications do not work in the web browser version of the app. 

From unread messages 

Select View my unread messages. 

If you have a new message, you’ll see a red circle next to Messages on your home screen. 

From the homepage 

Select Appointments, then Hospital appointments. 

From My health timeline 

Select My health, then My health timeline. 

Use filters to find hospital appointments. 

What you’ll see

· Date and time 

· Clinic 

· Specialty 

· To see 

· Description 

This may look different depending on your health board and the service.
