GP practice appointments

Appointment booking unavailable

If you cannot see the appointment booking service, it may be because your GP practice has not yet chosen to share this service with the NHS Wales App.

Making an appointment

Your GP practice decides what appointment types are available.

  1. Go to Appointments
  2. Select GP practice appointments
  3. Select Book an appointment
  4. Select Which type of appointment do I need?
  5. Select Location
  6. Select Practice member (it may not be possible to select a specific practice member)
  7. Select the date and time you want in Available appointments
  8. Give a reason for this appointment in fewer than 150 words                                                                                                      

If you still need help choosing the right appointment, or if you need a more immediate appointment, contact your GP practice directly.

Note: We will be including details about the gender of your GP and the languages they speak in a future release. 

Managing existing appointments

When you go to Appointments, any existing future appointments will be displayed. If you cannot see an appointment you're expecting to see, you should contact your GP practice directly.

If you want to cancel an existing appointment you can do this by using the Cancel this appointment link. You will no longer see the cancelled appointment in the App.
